SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL)

SSC conduct Combined Graduate level (CGL) exam every year for the intake of aspirants as an officer for the various post in the department. The candidate will get commenced in Grade ‘B’ and Grade ‘C’ from this recruitment process. There are various posts in Income Tax department, Custom, Excise duty department, these all are Grade ‘B’ level jobs in CGL. The exam is conducted in three phase mentioned below:

  • PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION
  • MAINS EXAMINATION
  • DESCRIPTIVE TEST

PRELIMINARY EXAMINATION

The Preliminary Examination is the Phase-I of the recruitment process. This part consists of 4 sections. Below is the exam pattern of Phase-I:

The exam will be in both English and Hindi. There will be a composite time of 1 hour for students (1 hour 20 minutes for the physically disabled candidates). The paper consists of 100 questions.

MAINS EXAMINATION

The candidates who successfully clear prelims exam will be called for Mains Examination. The Mains Exam is the Phase-II of the selection process. This section consists two sections, Mathematics and English. Below is the detail of Minas Exam pattern:

The exam will be in bilingual (Both Hindi and English). There will be 2 hours for both English and Mathematics respectively. The candidates who successfully clear the merit list to decide by the organization will be called for Phase-III.

DESCRIPTIVE TEST

This is the Phase-III and the final step of the recruitment process. The purpose of this phase is to check the writing skills of the candidates. As you are appearing for the post of the officer, you should know how to write or respond to the people you face during your tenure.

In this section, candidates have to write Essay, Letter (Formal or Informal), phrases writing. The final merit depends on the total marks of all the three sections.

Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) Examination

The Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination was conducted by SSC every year for the recruitment of various posts. Numerous of students apply for the 10th +2 exam. Lakhs of students participate in the various post, combined higher secondary exam is well known in students, those who are preparing to serve in a government sector.

MULTITASKING STAFF (MTS) Examination

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invites applicants for the Exam/Post of SSC MTS (Multitasking) every year in the different department. SSC will hold an all India level examination for the SSC MTS Recruitment 2017-18. As other exams conducted by SSC, MTS is also well known among aspirants.
